Championship-Winning Combination Continues In 2010

The 2009 Formula Renault UK Graduate Cup winner, Harry Tincknell, has re-signed with CRS Racing for an assault on the overall title in 2010. Not only did the 18-year-old charge to a fantastic Graduate Cup victory, but also secured the Michelin Formula Renault UK Winter Cup title, and both he and the team are hoping to claim even more silverware this season.

As a rookie, Harry made an astounding start to his promising career last year, and has kicked-off 2010 by being shortlisted as one of the most talented young drivers in the country by the UK’s motorsport governing body, the MSA. The Exeter-based driver will work closely with CRS Racing to build on their joint success in the coming season.

“I’m really happy to have been able to re-sign with CRS Racing and build on all our hard work last season,” said Harry. “This year I will have the same core team around me: we’ve developed a really strong relationship and work well together. We will also have two new engineers, which will add even more experience to the team. It should be an exciting year!

“This season, winning the overall title is the goal, but I’m not going to be complacent: I will still have to fend off those who competed last year, and any quick rookies that have joined the championship for 2010. There is still a lot of hard work to do pre-season and on the track.”

CRS Racing’s Team Director, Andrew Kirkaldy, said: “We’re delighted to have Harry racing for CRS Racing again this coming season. He made huge progress last year, and his talent has shone through. We’re looking forward to working closely with him again and developing a race-winning formula.”
